A global investment firm was considering purchasing four data centers and wanted refined intel on the prospective purchases to ensure a good return on their investment. Black & Veatch was retained by the firm to gather and review technical information for these potential properties based on the client’s criteria due to Black & Veatch’s significant experience and ability to add value in the data center space.
Black & Veatch’s scope consisted of two phases:
- Phase 1: Sought to understand the client’s technological and data criteria and needs so Black & Veatch could customize reporting for the client
- Phase 2: Consisted of physical site visits at four data centers located throughout Virginia and New Jersey. Phase 2 also included providing a final “red flag report” which captured critical technical information and data for the client based on their customized criteria
Black & Veatch provided the client a technical summarization report so they could make a highly-informed purchasing decision based on their specific criteria and considerations.
